9. With the vast amount of MMORPG games that are available today, and the vast amount of MMORPG games on the horizon, what sets VSOH apart? What will make players choose VSOH over any of the other titles out there?

The short answer would be depth of game play and the freedom to play in any way that you want. With Vanguard we’re not looking to make a game that folks will play for a few months and then move on. We’re really building this for the long haul – we want to immerse players deep in high fantasy and strong community. Also, with our sphere system (adventuring, crafting and diplomacy) as well as many other features (caravans, many features in player housing, many features surrounding travel, and many features surrounding combat) we really feel we’re bringing a lot of new things to the table. Group combat is fast paced and really takes advantage of the dynamics of your party members, but you can also solo all the way to 50. I can’t forget to mention that visually, the world looks beautiful and it is a seamless world. If you can see it in the distance, you can get there.
10. When do you expect the game to finally be available in its release form? Do you plan on offering the game via digital means?

We are still talking with SOE about the digital distribution plans. Aside from that, the most specific date I can give for a release is Q1 2007.




11. Thanks for taking the time to speak with us, is there anything you would like to say to our readers?
