TGhe latest installment of the Halfling Hodgepodge is posted over at the official EQ website. This time the post covers The Serpent's Spine EQ expansion which launches next week.

SOE says it best:

On Thursday, September 14th from 4am to 8am PDT we will be conducting some upgrades to our database. We understand the importance of providing you with a high quality product and this will help us achieve that goal. During the upgrade some services may be temporarily unavailable.

IGN has previewed the upcoming EverQuest expansion, The Serpent's Spine. By our count, this is the twelfth expansion pack for SOE's EQ, the MMORPG that brought the genre further than any game before it. THe expansion will cost $29.99 and will be available for download only.

SOE has posted word that the art gallery on the official SOE website, TheStatation, is now live. Some of the art is fantatic, these players are truly talented.
