The FINAL FANTASY XI Linkshell Community Beta Version user survey will be starting today and continuing until 1:00am on July 31 (Tuesday). This survey is designed to help us better understand users' opinions regarding the "Celestial Nights" special event and the features added in the July 5th Linkshell Community version update. We appreciate everyone's cooperation.

On May 16, 2007, FINAL FANTASY XI entered its sixth year of service! FINAL FANTASY XI has steadily grown over the months and years into a thriving community of more than 500,000 users. Once again, the development and operations teams have analyzed the paths and choices of Vana’diel’s adventurers and compiled a detailed report.

The Final Fantasy XI Online version update went off today, apparently without a hitch. What was changed? Well, the promotion quest for the next mercenary rank is now available, five new Assault missions for Mercenary ahve been added as well, the third wing of the Hazhalm Testing Grounds has been opened, and as always, gameplay fixes and tweaks were enacted.

The big version update of FFXI Online is finally complete. A new Art Urghan mission, as well as a new multiplayer battlefield. Check out the link for the full changelog.

Square has announced that that there is a new Mercenary rank in FFXI along with new assault missions. For the full details, check the link.
