Square has posted a new page on the FFXI website which details the changes made in the monster claiming system. Basically, if a player is attacking two monsters at once, another player cannot claim the second unclaimed monster until they build up enough enmity (hate) for the second monster to attack the second player. This is a change from the traditional system where any player could claim an unclaimed monster at any time.

Square has posted the info on the returning Feast Of Swords event. This event was a big hit last time around do they have decided to host it again with some great improvements. If you are a new player to the game from the Xbox360 then this will be your frist chance to experience the great FFXI in-game events that Square runs.

For those of you who need to purchase the PC version of Art Urhgan, Square has posted it on their online store for purchase if all else fails. You should be able to grab this now at your local retail store, but if you live in the middle of nowhere, order it off the FFXI website today.

Square has posted an information page which runs users through the step-by-step guide to migrate beta Xbox360 characters to the retail version which was released today. Head on over to find out what you need to do.

The big update for Final Fantasy XI is here. All the additions that will be featured in the Art Urhgan expansion will be added with this update, and once you purchase the expansion you will be able to enjoy the new features.

Square has updated the Official FFXI website yet again, this time with the full info on the Puppetmaster job from the Art Urhgan expansion. The job is vaguely similar to a bard, check out the website for all the dirt.

Yesterday Square brought us the info on the new Blue Mage job, now they bring us the info on the other new job from the Art Urhgan expansion, Corsair. This is basically a pirate job, and it has all the acessories to go with it.

Square has posted more Art Urhgan info on the FFXI website, this time it is concerning the game update process and schedule for those who already own the game. This update is to facilitate the use of the expansion for those players who purchased it. There will also be a server downtime for maintenance.
