Jagex has posted a new lore update for Runescape.

For Holgart, the peaceful village of Witchaven was the perfect place to retire and spend the rest of his days fishing. Sadly, some greedy merchant decided to build a huge fishing platform right in front of them, killing off the livelihood of every fisherman in the village. Many adventurers have already visited the platform and its strange guests, but little has been done about their strange powers... until now.

Not the most exciting news, but Codemasters has taken the next step towards getting Archlord online. The winners of the name the wolrds contest have been chosen, as well as the names for the worlds themselves. Brumhart, Gaiahon, Evengarda, Cyripsus, andn Zian will be the names of the five starting worlds, with more to come as the game players grow in number. Congrats to Dane LeBel, who had the winning entry, by the way.

Metro 2033: The Last Refuge is a new MMO FPS by 4A Games. The game was originally announced for PC, but we have learned it may be coming to the next-gen consoles as well. The game is set in a post-apocalyptic future where humanity is almost annihilated due to high-levels of radiation, Cities became unsuitable for livin and a new species has taken over control of the planet. We, of course, must fight to get our irradiated, burned-out husk of a planet back. The screens are from the PC version, but keep in mind even though they look great they are from a very early stage in development. The game is not due out until early 2008!
