Jumpgate, the 6 year old space themed MMO by NetDevil, is getting a complete overhaul. IIn fact, the patch is so big and changes things so redically, that we coined the word "patchquel." This basically means a sequel that comes in the form of a huge update. That is exaclty what this is, with an almost entirely new graphical engine included to boot. Check the link for the full scoop.

Kotaku managed to grab a copy of the trailer for the upcoming Lego MMO game. This new title looks as interesting as most of the other Lego games, which is great. Check it out.

The closed beta test of the new MMO game Age Of Armor has begun. If you are interested in participating in this second beta phase of the game, and think you will be able to help Snail Game improve AoA before launch, head on over to the official website and download the client.

Funcom has posted word that they will be featured on CNN soon:

On June 13th CNN will broadcast a program that takes on the virtual worlds phenomenon. Funcom's CEO Trond Arne Aas is also featured. Mr. Aas is one of several panelists that is featured in the program dedicated to virtual worlds and the future of this exciting medium. CNN's Kristie Lu Stout hosts the hour long program looking at the blurring lines between reality and imagination and how these technological developments are shaping our communities and the lives of our children.
