Blizzard has officially launched the new World Of Warcraft forums. If you have not yet checked them out, head on over and do so, they work fantastic!

Two new World Of Warcraft realms have been opened by Blizzard. It is good to see that Blizzard is still trying to combat the horrendous overcrowding in their ridiculously popular MMO.

Blizzard has posted links to a few player-created strategy guides. If you are interested in learning some tips for your class from the best, check the WoW page.

1up has posted their preview of the upcoming WoW expansion, The Burning Crusade. They even have a slew of new screenshots, so check it out! (Thanks, Neoimp)

Blizzard has posted some new fan art on the official World Of Warcraft homepage. The new images feature a gnome, and more. Just a note to readers, there have been no WoW updates recently because Blizzard has neglected to update their low bandwidth homepage. This is the page we use most of the time because the main page does not work due to traffic. Expect the updates to start again.

Blizzard says it best folks:

As part of our efforts to eliminate cheating from World of Warcraft, we recently banned approximately 59,000 World of Warcraft accounts in the month of June, and with that removed well over 22 million gold from the total economy across all realms. While we regret having to take such extreme action, these accounts were participating in activities that directly violated World of Warcraft's Terms of Use, including the use of third-party programs to farm gold and items. Such behavior not only negatively impacts the economy of a realm, it diminishes the achievements of those who play legitimately. We will continue to aggressively monitor all World of Warcraft realms in order to protect the service and our players from the harmful effects of cheating.

The upcoming WoW patch will feature brand new battlegrounds and PvP play. The battlegrounds will be cross-realm, and the details are fairly intricate. For an early look at what to expect, click read more.
