Turbine has announced their planned E3 showings for this week's conference. As you can see, not only do they plan on showing LOTR Online, but also DND Online. Click read more for the full info.PRESS RELEASEWESTWOOD, Mass. – MAY 5, 2006 – Turbine, Inc., a premier developer, publisher and operator of online subscription entertainment, today announced its line-up for the upcoming Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3), a trade event exclusively dedicated to showcasing the best in interactive entertainment and software. Turbine will unveil a playable version of The Lord of the Rings Online™: Shadows of Angmar™, the world’s first and only massively multiplayer online (MMO) role-playing game based upon the literary works of J.R.R. Tolkien. Additionally, the company will demonstrate new content in DUNGEONS & DRAGONS ONLINE™: Stormreach™, the hit game that has quickly become one of the fastest-growing MMOs in North America. Both will be showcased in Turbine’s booth at the event held at the Los Angeles Convention Center from May 10-12th, in Booth #2900 in the West Hall.

We can’t wait to show off our latest titles.”The Lord of the Rings Online: Shadows of Angmar (LOTRO) allows players to explore the most famous fantasy world of all time, fight the evil minions of the Dark Lord Sauron, and advance their heroes by adventuring through the vast reaches of Middle-earth™. Turbine will also begin the registration process for its Beta Program for LOTRO and offer a playable version of the Weathertop experience in its booth. DUNGEONS & DRAGONS ONLINE: Stormreach was released in February 2006 to critical acclaim and quickly became one of the fastest-growing MMOs in North America. Following on the heels of the Dragon’s Vault module, which released in April, Turbine will also be announcing a range of expanded player features and content scheduled to be released later this year.Executives and members of the development teams from Turbine will be on hand in the company’s booth (#2900) located in the West Hall of the Los Angeles Convention Center. The latest community news and images from The Lord of the Rings Online and DUNGEONS & DRAGONS ONLINE: Stormreach can be found at http://www.thelordoftheringsonline.com and http://www.ddo.com, respectively. Visitors can join the rapidly growing communities for each game, interact with the developers, get detailed game information and receive ongoing first looks at exclusive content. The Lord of the Rings Online is being co-published in North America by Turbine and Midway Home Entertainment Inc. (a subsidiary of Midway Games Inc. NYSE: MWY). The game will be co-published by Turbine and Codemasters in Europe. DUNGEONS & DRAGONS ONLINE: Stormreach is published by Atari, Inc. in the U.S. and Europe. |
