You may be saying, why do I care about this? Well folks, SOny supporting third party servers on their new online network means MMORPGs, and lots of 'em. In other words, the network will have support for any companies who want to run MMO games through it, so expect some to be released. The standard services will be entirely free - no definition on what "standard" means yet, though. Another interesting thing to note is that third-party developers will be able to connect their servers to the networks. This means MMORPGs, people.
