The newly-revamped MMO developer Acclaim has signed a deal with in-game ad specialists IGA to provide advertisements in the first six MMO games that Acclaims plans to release. Under the terms of the deal, advertisements will appear in 2Moons, 9Dragons, DANCE! and BOTS!!, with two more titles on the way.

"This agreement expands the growth of our advertising network into social gaming," said IGA CEO Justin Townsend.

Acclaim is pleased to announce the start of pre open beta testing for all players interested in the 9 Dragons MMORPG! As promised, 9 Dragons will be free to play for all, supported by in-game advertising and item purchasing. Head on over and register to download this action adventure MMO game.

Acclaim has posted a trailer on the official 9 Dragons website. The video is small, but it certainly looks pretty impressive. Let's hope this one pans out well. You may have seen this one before, but it doesnt make it less impressive.

Ken Johnston, the CEO of Presistent Worlds, has posted the first of the dev diaries for 9 Dragons over at MMORPG.com He talks about the combat system in the upcoming martial arts MMORPG. Presistent Worlds is also now a European partner of the new Acclaim. There will be a new dev diary ever two weeks or so, keep an eye out.
