In keeping with their no-tolerance stance on cheating, Blizzard has banned over 30,000 World Of Warcraft accouns for the month of May. Use of third-party programs, gold farming, and other infractions were at the heart of the bannings.

Blizzard has announced the opening of two new realms for their Oceanic players. These realms will go online at 11:59PDT June 9. Blizzard has also updated the WoW talent calculators, you will now see all three trees for each class on the same page, and the click responsiveness has been greatly improved under Internet Explorer.

Blizzard has updated the World Of Warcraft wallpaper section with some new settings of Blackrock Depths. They look great, as per usual.

The next major content update for Wow, Shadow of the Necropolis, is due soon, and players will have access to the new high-level raid dungeon Naxxramas, the seat of Kel'Thuzad (one of the most feared enemies the world of Warcraft has ever known). Horrors of the past and new terrors yet to be unleashed are converging inside the necropolis as the Lich King's servants prepare their assault. Blizzard Europe held a contest as part of their celebration of the Noblegarden in-game holiday this year. Participants had to paint hard-boiled eggs with a Warcraft theme, and the winners have now been chosen. All we can say is "wow!" (Get it?) Some of these eggs must have taken hours!
