WHAT: A New Zone: Unrest!
Raiders rejoice! For 502 years after the fall of the old world, Unrest is re-introduced into the world of Norrath! Resurfacing as a high-end, instanced zone for groups of experienced PCs, The Estate of Unrest is located in Faydwer off of the Butcherblock Mountains and is fully intended to be a tough adventure zone! Don’t get caught with your lance down, make sure you bring your Legendary Items and Master spells along for the ride, cause the fighting is gonna get tough! (In order to access Unrest, you must have the Echoes of Faydwer expansion installed.)

February 27, 2007 marks the online launch of the original, ground breaking Pirates set -- The Spanish Main. Pirates CSG Online gives players the opportunity to navigate stealthy Pirates ships, Majestic Spanish galleons, and speedy British sloops through the treacherous waters of the Spanish Main collecting as much gold as possible while fending off enemy attacks.

Here is a quick peek at some of the new content coming up for Game Update 32 to EverQuest II. If you remember the GU32 preview from last week, we have a lot of exciting content coming into the game. Once again, there will be a holiday celebration, but there will also be an exiting new zone for high level characters, an in-game web browser, and a respec for your achievement lines. Let's take a look at some of the new content.

On Monday, February 12th, members of 'Pandemonium' achieved a world wide first when they defeated the 'Avatar of Valor' in EQII. I wanted to take a moment to congratulate our friends in Pandemonium, who show that the international community of EQII Players is a potent force to be reckoned with.

The forums for guilds using the EQ2 Guilds website will be migrating to the new system on February 22nd. The migration will involve a two day maintenance period (ending on the 24th) and all guilds using forums will be affected. Guild Leaders should also note that existing guild permissions will not carry over to the new forums, so you will need to re-enable permissions for your guild forum before your guild members will be able to see the new forums. Keep an eye on the EQ2 Players website for any updates to the Guild forums migration.

A new post is available over at the official SOE website. It is basically a backrounder on the Eve of Erollsis event that is coming to the world of EQ2 real soon. Servers will be taken down at some point today to facilitate the addition of the event's items, quests, and info.

The latest installment of the HH Society Page is posted over at the official EQ website. This time, the guild called the Slyver Gryphon Brotherhood is detailed. Check out their stats, as well as how to get your guild profiled.

The latest installment of the EQ2 Community Spotlight is posted over at the official website. Today it seems the 'The Archive of Ik' was announced in the EQ2 forums by Dreyco, the Iksar Historian. The archive is a collection of lore from both EQ and EQ2. Check it out.
