Wednesday 25th July/...NCsoft® Europe and Cryptic Studios™ have released the newest expansion to City of Heroes®, Issue 10: “Invasion” where City of Heroes and City of Villains™ players join forces to thwart an attack by the evil Rikti™ aliens bent on the destruction of the Earth. The expansion, free to current subscribers, includes a major redesign of the Rikti Crash Site zone as well as a Rikti co-op task force where heroes and villains team up to defeat the toughest alien bosses.

If you are visiting the San Diego International Comic Con, be sure to stop by the NCsoft booth, #3949 and see City of Heroes and City of Villains in action. NCsoft Online Community Manager Alex “Lighthouse” von Minden will be on hand, as will esteemed Top Cow City of Heroes Comic Book artist, David Nakayama! David will be doing character sketches, so be sure to bring a screenshot of your favorite character. Alex will just be shaking hands and answering questions, since he can’t draw very well.

Net Devil spoke with GamesIndustry to make sure that fans know the closure of AUto Assault will not affect the planned LEGO MMO at all. In fact, the AA team members are not being laid off, just moved to other project teams. Great news!
