Ryzom's parent company, Nevrax, is going to be going through some changes in the near future. The developers wish to emphasize that this does not mean the game will be closign down, but it does mean that some changes will take effect. For a breakdown of what to expect, check the link.

Today Nevrax made a change related to the Ring editor: if you edited a scenario with a character from Ruins of Silan, and then went to the mainland with him, sometimes you couldn't go into the Ring editor anymore with your other characters. Now, all the characters have the right to edit.

SOR radio (Saga Of Ryzom) is looking for DJs, and you may jsut be it. Radio SOR is a Ryzom dedicated internet radio server which runs 24/7 and needs dedicated players who can host their own shows. This is a great place to get started for anyone who is interested in becoming an internet radio DJ.

There is clearly a general misunderstanding about the way in which the Ring Reward Points system works. The system is basically time based, meaning that a hack and slash scenario won’t necessarily earn more points for its players than a more leisurely scripted adventure.

To that end, the guys at Ryzom have posted a Q&A to help players understand the system.

Nevrax has posted word that the Ryzom servers will be down for a time tomday while they perform some maintenance upgrades. Arispotle, Aniro and Leanon will close today at 3pm (GMT+2) for about 45 minutes to retrieve logs. Please take note of it.
