Apparently there has been a security breach of the Second Life player database in the past few days. Linden has reset all player passwords, and gamers are urged to change their password as soon as possible. In what is definitely the first of its kind lawsuit, a Pennsylvania lawyer is suing the makers of the Second Life MMO for unfairly confiscating over $8000 dollard worth of virtual items. Marc Bragg of West Chester, Pennsylvania, says game developer Linden Lab unilaterally shut down his Second Life account, cutting off his access to a substantial portfolio of real estate and currency in the virtual world.
