Just a quick reminder folks, Sony Online Entertainment and Sigil Games Online today announced the arrival of “Vanguard: Saga of Heroes” pre-order boxes in select retailers. The boxes should be available starting December 5th, depending on the retailer.

Over in the world of Vanguard, Jeric and his adventuring party have just returned from an expedition deep into the wilds of Telon and have brought back with them many previously undiscovered specimens. Among them was a mid-sized, gangly, sharp-toothed demonoid beast. Help decide what to call this unnamed creature and win some cool prizes in the process. The winner will have his or her winning moniker put into the final version of the game when it is released.

A new Vanguard: Saga of Heroes movie has been released, and Fileshack has it posted for your downloading pleasure. The video illustrates the game hi-def capabilities by showing some in-game fly-by footage. Definitely worth a watch.
