Square has posted information regarding some job adjustments that will be made in the next FFXI Online update. Apparently there are some balance issues that need to be addressed, check it out.

Square says it best:The next version update is currently under development and scheduled to be released in mid-October. Expect all-new Assault areas, missions, quests, and enemies, not to mention even tougher Besieged battles and a plethora of other new content!

Square-Enix says it best:Today, a number of accounts which were confirmed to have violated the user agreement by using unauthorized third-party software tools within FINAL FANTASY XI to enable abnormal in-game movement were discovered and have been suspended or permanently terminated .

Square has posted word that the XBox360 version of their five year old MMORPG, Final Fantasy XI, will only cost $29.99 from here on out. There was no reason cited for the price reduction, but we can guess that with the Holiday Season drawing closer, Square wants to focus on other next-gen titles.

Square is looking for a few good men, or women, to server as Game Masters for Final Fantasy XI Online. To qualify, you MUST be fluent (both written and verbal) in either French or German, live in the Los Angeles region, and have customer service experience and a love of video games.
