Monday, 13th August (2pm GMT) – Codemasters Online and Turbine, Inc. announced the details of the second free content update for subscribers to The Lord of the Rings Online™: Shadows of Angmar™. Book 10: The City of the Kings continues the epic story, adds over 100 new quests, implements significant enhancements to monster play and introduces the Reputation and Bartering systems. Book 10: The City of the Kings will be available to subscribers of The Lord of the Rings Online on August 21st, 2007.

The premium services for D&D Online are back, just an FYI folks. World Character Transfer, Character Rename, and Guild Rename are all once again available, so if you have been waiting, now is the time.

We’ll be merging all characters from Mabar and Argonnessen onto Risia that were created before 12:01 am on Wednesday July 25th.
You can still play on Risia if you do not have characters from Mabar or Argonnessen, everyone is welcome!

The little thief will get what he deserves now that he’s been caught. But he’s my brother. Perhaps I should find Daine and attempt a jailbreak.

The noble and respected Gildor Inglorion of the House of Finrod is one of the eldest of the Elves yet remaining in Middle-earth, though his strong, youthful appearance may be deceiving. He now makes his home in the House of Elrond in Rivendell, but he can often be found in the wilds of Middle-earth with a small band of elves under his command. Gildor keeps a watchful eye over the hobbits of the Shire and the other peaceful communities, his keen eyes watching the movements of those that dwell in the darkness and shadows. Gildor is an Elf of much wisdom and immeasurable skill with blade and bow. He has elected to stay in Middle-earth with Elrond and the others, though many of their kin have long since departed across the sea from the Grey Havens.
