Overall the game gave me the feeling it was a more laid back and relaxing experience. There could be some stress if a player were to become really into the whole political system, where users vote for who they think should be in charge and decide on projects. This could become the other type of “fighting”, lets be honest politics is down and dirty sometimes.

The game in the end is about being social, getting to know other players, working together, forming Rings (clans/guild is other games), and trying to find a goal you want to go for.

One of the negative side effects about the system I could see happening in the game is, if 48% say they want to fix the elevator, but 52% want to do something else. You could have 48% of the server upset and get pissed off because their project didn’t get approved. I wonder personally how the developers plan to solve these kind of problems, upsetting a large percentage of your server could be horrible since someone could effectively train skills into something that doesn’t really ever take off. This is theoretical of course, and the developers probably have something for people to do if the main project in their field isn’t what gets decided on.

Lastly as far as the bugs, it seems the team is working hard to fix and remove any problems users are encountering. The first two months of the game right now come with a 14 day trial, and 2 months of gaming for the price of 1. While this sounds like a good deal it gave me the impression they felt they couldn’t charge full price at the start because users were still experiencing some of the same bugs found in the beta even in the full game.

If you are looking for a game that isn’t PvP heavy, or based on raids/dungeon crawls, this would probably be right up your alley. I also feel since there doesn’t appear to be any real violence this could also appeal to younger gamers looking to get into MMOs, since the comic book feel comes off like a cartoon almost.

Would I personally purchase the game right now? Probably not, I would wait until some more of the bugs are ironed out. Maybe towards the end of May when the 2 months for 1 deal is still good, I would see how the server and game is doing then. Most games have some bugs when they are released; however, when the login server crashes over and over on the first few days, I would rather save my money for now and try the game at a later date than get upset and never come back to it.
