Alright lets go over the classes, you’ve got 7 classes, pretty standard, they basically took some of the basic classes and split them into two, and also combined white and black mages into one character, and you just have to choose which abilities you focus on.

First there’s the Guardian. Your tank class. This is the class that takes all the beatings and builds rage from it, then retaliates with damage after enough hits from the enemy. The Guardian also has provoke abilities to keep the mobs off the support classes and high damage dealers. Your standard tank class nothing too complicated.




Next you’ve got the Champion. This is the closest thing you’ve got to a paladin in the game. They deal more damage, and have a bit of a holy edge to it. They’re meant to be the melee damage class. They won’t take the hits as well as a guardian can, but when you’ve got a magic resistant mob in front of you, the guardian is your Johnny on the spot. This class builds more rage from delivering blows rather then receiving, and ties in nicely with a ranged party member for damage dealing. Not to mention your best bet for a solo class outside of the magic ranks.

Next we have the Captain. This character is a bit of a nuance for MMO play, they have the best of both worlds for the melee. They deal the damage, take the hits, and on top of everything they have great traits for party buffing. They have the equivalent of a warcry ability for pretty much every situation, they can raise stamina, raise strength, buff health, defense, and all with a warcry instead of a spell. Definitely good for a party who is short a tank or a finesse melee, they can do either one, but are best when supporting one of the others. A must for high level parties.
