Now you’ve go the three support classes, first The Hunter. This is your ranged damage dealer. As with any ranger, they have great damage, and work best when they have a tank to steal the hate, and can just sit back and score hits from a safe distance. They can stun, slow, high damage, drop armor ratings, everything you want a ranger to do. Great for any party, great for damage. As with most rangers, at the higher levels, their damage can’t be matched, perfect for a party looking to fly through an instance. The thief class, aptly named Burgler, is pretty much what you’d expect. Nice to have for situations that require someone who can sneak, someone who can steal, someone who can do a lot of damage when standing behind a mob. Not a party necessity, but as with all thieves, convenient in given situations. Next, The Minstrel. Your healing support class. They can buff, they can heal a little, but your best bet is to have them do mass buffs for the party. They make you stronger faster more mana, more health. Basically whatever you need. They work best on a per-mob basis, and aren’t all that bad at doing some negative effect spells on the enemy. A fun support class, with enough new spells per level that you won’t get bored. Finally, the magic class. The Loremaster is whatever you make him. He’s a damage mage or a healing priest. You determine what he does based on what skills you give him. Definitely the most customizable class, and for anyone who likes the magic characters, this is a nice way to pretty much make your mage whatever you want him to be without being forced into a build set. You can do whatever you want with a loremaster. |
